If you cannot access the app
Submit a request through https://cleaningmaids.co.za/contact/ using the email address or telephone number associated with your Cleaning Maids account. State that you want to delete your Cleaning Maids account. Do not attach identity documents to an ordinary contact message. We will provide a secure verification method if additional proof is required.
What is deleted
After verification and completion of any active obligations, we delete or anonymise account profile information, contact information, saved preferences, push-notification tokens, and other personal information that is no longer required to provide the service or meet a legal obligation. Public profile visibility is removed when deletion is processed.
Information we may retain
We may retain limited booking, payment, payout, tax, fraud-prevention, security, consent, audit, dispute, and legal records when required by law or reasonably necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. We may delay final deletion while a booking, payment, refund, chargeback, complaint, safety report, or dispute remains unresolved. Retained information is restricted and is not used to recreate a deleted public profile.
Timing
We aim to acknowledge requests promptly and complete verified deletion requests within a reasonable period, normally within 30 days, unless a lawful reason requires more time. We will explain any material delay.
